Welcome to the Members Only section of the Neuropathic Pain Network (NPN) Web site.

The Neuropathic Pain Network is pleased to provide you with the NPN Resource Toolkit. More than 15 million people in Europe and the United States suffer from neuropathic pain; many others around the world may be unaccounted for. This kit marks an important step in our collective efforts toward building awareness of this puzzling and painful condition as well as of the NPN among our constituents, local media, health care professionals and the public.

Our goal is to make the community aware of the NPN and its role as an advocate for people suffering from neuropathic pain. We hope the toolkit will be a key resource your group can utilize to establish a broader base of medical and patient advocates who can discuss the condition and the need for access to information and the most appropriate treatments.

Included here are a backgrounder on neuropathic pain, a template news release for local adaptation, a brochure on the NPN and neuropathic pain, and a slide presentation. These materials will help you in communicating the importance of neuropathic pain education, awareness and patient support at your organization's meetings, at community gatherings, congresses, and in media interviews.

Through our ongoing efforts, we have an exciting opportunity to help the millions of people suffering from this condition. Together, we have the ability to have an impact on the lives of many people with neuropathic pain and help reduce the significant personal and societal impact of this condition.
